What does WaterAid

Our collaboration with WaterAid on the occasion of World Water Day

Our theme for this month is creating a healthier, more sustainable everyday life. So while we are focused on how each of us can do our part for the planet, we have chosen to partner with an organization that does just that.

WaterAid is one of the most respected water and sanitation organizations in the world. And we work with her to make sure that we not only fill our own cups, but also those of those in need.

But what exactly does WaterAid do? WaterAid is an international, independent and non-governmental organization that works in partnership with local organizations in 34 countries in Africa, Asia, Central America and the Pacific region to provide the world's poorest people with access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.

Since March 22nd is World Water Day, we thought it would be appropriate to join forces and fundraise and discuss the other ways we can help and support WaterAid.

This is how you can help too:

1. Register withMarch for Water

Walk 4, 8, or 12 km daily in March to help make clean water normal for everyone. Run where and whenever you can and raise funds for the millions of women and children who have to travel such distances every day to fetch water to survive.

2. Create your ownFundraiser

Even if we're stuck at home right now, you can pass the time in a fun and meaningful way. Pick an idea, have fun and collect money for WaterAid on the side - this is how you help to provide urgently needed hand washing systems.

3. Pick up theTap Challengepart

If you can't walk long distances every day, you can still get involved by planning a walk, run, or bike ride in the shape of a tap as a show of solidarity for those who are deprived of the basic human right to clean water. Plan your route, move your feet, and collect some money to help and change lives.
