Save WhatsApp voice messages with Android

There is no need to save WhatsApp voice messages on an Android device because it happens automatically. To access the audios, all you have to do is go to your file manager. This is how it works:

  1. Open your file manager.
  2. Tap the internal storage or SD card on which you saved WhatsApp.
  3. Now look for the folderWhatsapp and open it.
  4. ChooseMedia out.
  5. You will now find the subfolder hereWhatsApp Voice Notes. All your voice messages are stored there.

Save WhatsApp voice messages with iOS

If you use WhatsApp on an iOS device, your sent voice messages are not saved in a file manager, but have to be exported manually by you. It's very easy:

  1. Open WhatsApp.
  2. Long press the voice message you want to export and save.
  3. Several options will appear. ChooseHand off out.
  4. You now have the option to select further messages. In the lower right, tap the forwarding icon.
  5. Select which app you want to use to export or save the voice message. If you forward it to your e-mail, it will be saved externally. From iOS 11 you have the option to save the voice messages in a folder on your iPhone.
