The hotel was definitely one of the best accommodations on my India trip! The accommodation is clean and the hotel is tastefully decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is very familiar, the food in the rooftop restaurant is very good and the view of the fort is simply indescribably beautiful, especially in the evening. The pool is especially great for relaxing. We also recommend a trip to the desert, which is organized directly by the hotel. I would have liked to have stayed longer!

We were picked up from the hotel at Jaisalmer train station for free. The hotel is a small house outside the fort, so that a short walk of about 20 minutes is always necessary to visit the fort. The rooms are not very big but clean and furnished in a typical way. Our two rooms were on the ground floor at the entrance, so that there were occasional disturbances from other guests at night. (Note: some rooms do not have a window. The food in the rooftop restaurant was good and inexpensive. The price-performance ratio is good.

Guest reviews about Jaisalmer

A not very big city with narrow bazaar streets, quite a lot of tourists, accordingly efficient

Traders, enough cows and goats. You can save yourself a visit to the 1/2 day camel ride at the sand dunes 40 km away, Pushkar is better here. Just a nice little tourist town with the typical Indian crowd.

The inhabited fort with the palace, the beautiful still intact old town with the magnificent havelis

and then connected to the shops where rural dwellers come to shop and experience India. Many possibilities for excursions in the desert. A place to enjoy yourself.
